Obesity is a term used to describe body weight that much greater than what considered healthy. It has become serious public health problem. affects 32.2% of the population. The worldwide prevalence obesity 1.6 billion and reached epidemic proportions mostly in high income groups. Changes dietary habits sedentary lifestyles are known be associated with changes increased chronic diseases. During past decades efficacious strategies have been developed for prevention these changes. These involve general lifestyle changes, which include healthy diet, optimal weight, physical activity, no alcohol consumption. In management available therapies having its own side effects Unani medicine plays an important role obesity. Number herbs documented classics reduce includes Lac (Luke-e-Maghsool), Muqil (Commiphora Mukul), Kharkhask (Ghokru-Tribulus Terrestris), Haldi (Turmeric- Curcuma Longa) Zeera siya (Black cumin- Cuminum sativum) etc. most common traditional medicines loss, but there need explore efficacy drugs scientific manner.
